The AUG 14.5" threaded 1/2X28 barrel is the shortest barrel Steyr USA has ever made.

This barrel fits all models of the Steyr AUG. This barrel has a 1:9 twist rate and a "Tulip" style flash hider and bayonet threads. The muzzle threads are 1/2 x 28". The AUG Key-mod handguard features 21 Keyholes for limitless versatility and does not interfere with most silencers and muzzle devices. This handguard allows for a C-clamp grip of the AUG. Because the rail is attached to the gas-block and not the receiver, this rail does not affect that QD barrel feature of the AUG and allows for barrel-specific attachments. The AUG Enhanced Trigger Spring kit reduces felt trigger poundage by 2-3 lbs. This spring kit works with both Standard and NATO trigger packs. NOTE: Trigger Pack not included. This kit contains three springs which will need to be installed by the user.
